A relaxing vineyard with great views and good wine
Paradise Hills Vineyard的点评
点评：Sometimes my destination is a winery and other times I look for a winery along my destination. Paradise Hills was a stop on my way to a destination. I was early and decided to enjoy a glass of wine on a sunny day. I was very glad to have picked Pardise Hills Winery. I really enjoyed my glass of Cayuga wine. The wine was delicious and sitting on the deck looking out on the vineyard was relaxing.
I enjoyed reading up about the place as I sat and had my wine. The winery was founded by the Ruggiero family in 1997. It was originally producing grapes for other wineries in the area. The owners grew up in an Italian family wiht Italian Traditions and a love for wine and wine making. Personally, since I make homemade wine, my favorite part about learning about the owners is how the winemaking started. Richard told his brother one 30 years ago they were going to make wine in the basement. I can relate since 32 years ago I started making wine in my garage. After 14 years of supplying wine, they opened their tasting room in 2011. They did a nice job with the tasting room and sitting area as it really does offer a Tuscan atmosphere.
