Only noteworthy if you've never seen an ocean sunset before
伊亚落日观景点的点评
点评：As someone who grew up on the west coast of a different - not tropical nor Mediterranean nor terribly exotic - island in another part of the world: This looked suspiciously similar to the sun I've seen set over an ocean on countless prior occasions.
Not worth any money, trouble, or effort just to see the sunset here specifically.
Note well that Oia is an extremely crowded place. If you're like me - someone who is not exactly a diehard fan of large crowds in small spaces - you will be very weary and stressed making your way to and from this spot during these hours.
The small alleyways are so packed during the time after the sunset that the stream of people grinds to a halt waiting to leave. I can easily imagine a potential risk of crowd crush here.
No wonder either that the bus driver warned us to hold on tight to our phones and wallets.
And this was in late September, nowhere near the peak of high season.
