Disappointing - expensive with lots of closures

点评：I don’t normally review as I feel guilty for the businesses but this time I had to.
Hobbledown was one of the most disappointing days out we can remember.
It was completely rammed (fair enough with school hols) but so much was closed - exhibits and eateries! We barely saw a single animal. There were some very muddy ponies and goat. The pond had litter in it.
Hand washing area by goat was filthy!
The toilets were for tiny people (did I miss something?)
I couldn’t work out where anything was. There weren’t signs for specific animals and no print out maps.
The entrance wasn’t welcoming.
I saw one very muddy zookeeper.
There isn’t really much tailored for pre-schoolers. I was shocked at the tunnels under the big play ground. There were also chains across areas that children could cross - my son got his chin caught trying to move from a climbing tower to a balance beam.
He’s 3.5yo, tall for his age and very confident. However he struggled to access the play areas.
The soft play was impossible to get into and very dirty.
I think on a beautiful spring off peak day this would be much better.

山羊旁边的洗手区脏得要命！
厕所是给小孩子用的（我错过了什么吗？）
我完全找不到地方。没有动物指示牌，也没有打印地图。
入口处一点也不友好。
我看到一个浑身泥泞的饲养员。
这里几乎没有适合学龄前儿童的设施。大型游乐场下面的隧道让我大吃一惊。孩子们可以穿过的区域还架着铁链——我儿子试图从攀爬塔爬到平衡木上时，下巴被铁链卡住了。
他三岁半，个子比同龄孩子高，而且非常自信。然而，他却很难进入游乐区。
软垫游乐区根本进不去，而且非常脏。
我想，如果是在阳光明媚的春日非高峰期，情况会好得多。
真是令人遗憾。
