A Lovely Creative Treat — Just a Bit Noisy This Time

点评：We had a great time at Flying Saucers Pottery Painting (Ages 68,40 and 10) — such a fun and relaxing way to spend a few hours! The staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the whole process was explained clearly.
We were painting plates (priced at £20 each), and enjoyed some lovely drinks — a hot chocolate and a mocha — bringing the total to £84.20 including the studio fee. It’s definitely a bit of a treat, but for the experience and end result, we felt it was worth it.
Unfortunately, a large group had been booked in for the same time as us, so it did get quite noisy — not ideal if you’re looking for a peaceful creative session, but not the fault of the staff, who remained kind and helpful throughout.
A few of the paint nibs were blocked with dried paint, so we had to make a few trips downstairs to ask for them to be cleaned. Brushes and extra paints were easy to access, though a bit of self-service was needed while staff were downstairs.
We were given two hours to paint which I thought would be plenty of time but we used the whole two hours and were gently reminded with 20 mins warning.
After a week’s wait, we returned to collect our finished plates — they’d been handled with care and were beautifully wrapped, ready for the journey home. They turned out beautifully and made a lovely keepsake of the day.
All in all, we really enjoyed the experience and would definitely come again. A little more attention to materials being ready would have made it perfect but we still left with smiles on our faces. Thank you, Flying Saucers!
