Dewey Short Visitors Center的点评
点评：Though we've made use of the exterior amenities, numerous times over the years; this was our first time to go inside the Center itself. We're quite glad we finally made that decision.
The facility is well-maintained, nicely-conceived, and full of engaging/informative displays (not least of which is, the fascinating introductory film).
The real treasure, though, is the friendly and welcoming staff.
When we first entered, Becky gave us a wonderful overview of the White River, its dams/lakes, and the surrounding environs.
(Though we've been coming to the area for several years; this gave us a new perspective. We've always known the area is much more than shows/shopping/dining; but the information here, really expanded that reality).
After the film, Bob added even more background and info.
In addition to the displays & information; there are various vantage points throughout the structure; from which one can sit/stand, and view the surrounding scenery (Lake, dam, etc.).
