点评：You are being ripped off here.
The only reason for this one star is the woman who helped us. She was genuinely kind, friendly, and helpful. Unfortunately, the business itself was a completely different story.
We were initially quoted $285 for a tour. When two more people joined, making four adults in total, we expected the price to become cheaper as we had been told. Instead, the owner suddenly changed it to $300. The $15 is not the issue, the constantly changing prices are. It felt like they simply made up prices on the spot.
We eventually booked another tour for $200, but were forced to pay in MVR cash. Because of the exchange rate they used, this cost us around $260, $60 more than the agreed price. They only accept cash, while on Guli Island you can only withdraw MVR, not USD. This puts you completely at the mercy of their exchange rate.
We checked the exchange rate elsewhere and were told this was not a normal rate.
Our advice: take the V Marine boat to Maafushi for around $10 and arrange your tours there. Tour operators in Maafushi allow you to pay in USD and by card, making everything much more transparent.
