点评：This has been quite the experience. I booked this trip within my first week of arriving in Java, and I have to say it did not disappoint. I did the Bromo–Ijen trip, and seeing such nature — going from an active volcano at sunrise with a breathtaking landscape, to a bright blue lake high up in the mountains, while in between positioning yourself in the forest next to a 200-meter waterfall — is truly something special, not going to lie.
The only thing that might have prepared me better was the transportation. It was quite a long drive for us coming from Semarang, and because we needed to be at the destinations before sunrise, most of the driving happened throughout the night, which resulted in not much sleep. So maybe bring a pillow.
But all in all, it was definitely worth it, and the pictures will stay with me.
