点评：I recently visited 1000 Trees in Shanghai, and it’s easily one of the most unique architectural landmarks I’ve seen. The design is striking—layers of concrete terraces topped with lush greenery create the impression of a man-made mountain rising out of the city. It’s a refreshing blend of urban development and nature, and it really stands out against the typical skyline.
What I appreciated most was how the space feels alive. The plants aren’t just decorative—they soften the structure and make the entire area feel more open and breathable. Walking around, you get different perspectives at every turn, especially along the Suzhou Creek, where the reflection of the building adds to the visual impact.
Inside, the development mixes retail, dining, and cultural spaces, so there’s plenty to explore. Some areas still feel a bit commercial and crowded, but the overall concept makes up for it. It’s a great spot for photos, casual strolling, or just experiencing something different from the usual malls.
Overall, 1000 Trees is a bold and creative project that reimagines how architecture can coexist with nature. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in Shanghai.
