An extremely fun experience!
The Blue Point Amethyst Mine的点评
点评：From the moment we pulled up to the gate we were warmly welcomed by Jordan. He was so kind and gave us wonderful tips on what to look for when we got back to the picking area. He is so knowledgable about geology, and generously shared so much information with us. We were there right after it rained which helped to wash some of the mud and clay off of the amethysts which made our searching a little easier (but a bit muddier haha).
Once we collected some pieces we went back to the main parking lot area where there were water buckets with brushes. Jordan was on hand to explain the different kinds we found (blue, pink, smokey, etc.).
Blue Point Amethyst Mine is well worth the stop! We would go back again in a heartbeat!
