点评：Greeted enthusiastically by two U of A student staff and had already prepaid our tickets. A quiet early Monday, we started at peaceful Kurimoto Japanese Garden, then onto Aga Khan (big cascading waterfall not running today). Alpine Garden made us feel at home but somehow missed the Maze, then the ESSO Oil Woodbend #120 exhibit (profound stats!), rose garden getting cared for by volunteers (?), and Indigenous Garden complete c Jason Carter’s art statue of Grandfather Sun. The collections area was also quite interesting: very impressed overall how each plant was well identified with easily visualized signage. The David Thomson house was a bonus c Welsh history and Potager’s Garden fascinating. Brick path work and masonry stone work incredible.
