点评：We visit Geilston Garden annually. Although it is small by National Trust standards it is beautifully planted and varied. Indeed it’s a real gem and definitely one of our favourite gardens.
Yesterday was the perfect day to visit as Geilston is well known for their gorgeous azaleas. The garden was just a delight - other visitors agreed it was the best they had seen it too.
The azaleas were glorious and there was a stunning display of bluebells through the woods by the stream. The fresh growth of the trees and the giant rhododendron blooms all added to a Springtime feast of colour.
The photos do it justice indeed.
I bought some fresh rhubarb- you can get drinks from the kiosk too. Picnic tables are also available.
This is the perfect time to visit, as the irises along the banks of the stream are just about to open.
