Shocking Lack of Vigilance from Lifeguard on Duty

点评：We visited this beach with our family, including two young children (aged 3 and 13 months), and chose to sit directly in front of the lifeguard station. While the station itself appeared well-equipped, the lifeguard’s conduct was deeply concerning.
From our arrival at 10am until departure at 4pm, he remained glued to his phone, showing no active surveillance of the beach or sea. He often sat with his feet up, facing inland, and made no visible effort to monitor the safety of beachgoers. During his lunch break, he met a friend and began performing backflips in the shallows for around an hour - dangerously close to children playing in the water.
Later in the day, a serious incident occurred at the far end of the beach requiring medical attention. A member of the public had to alert the lifeguard, who appeared completely unprepared. He ran back and forth multiple times for equipment, even returning to search for his phone after dropping it in the sand.
Most distressing of all, I witnessed a child face down in the water directly in front of the lifeguard station while he was supposedly on duty. He didn’t notice at all—his attention was elsewhere the entire day.
I rarely write reviews, but this experience was alarming. I regret not taking down the contact details posted on the lifeguard hut to file an official complaint. If anyone has a photo of those details, please share it.
