Random stop that was better than expected
Oregon Trail Ruts的点评
点评：This was such a cool stop and totally worth visiting! It wasn't crowded at all when we were there, so we were able to take our time walking around and actually enjoy everything.
One thing that's a little confusing is that the Oregon Trail Ruts aren't actually inside the state park. You drive past the park and take the turn right before entering town, so definitely pay attention to the signs or your GPS!
Once you're there, though, it's really well done. There is a ton of information explaining the Oregon Trail and the history of the ruts, and the area is very well marked. The paved walking path makes a nice loop, so it's an easy walk while still giving you a chance to see the historic trail and take in the scenery.
The views are beautiful, and it's pretty incredible to stand there and see the actual path worn into the landscape by thousands of people traveling west so long ago.
