New York City JFK Capital One Lounge的点评
点评：The 3 hour before policy is the dumbest policy I ever heard of my life. Missed my flight by 5 minutes after waiting in the security line for 1.5 hours because of the TSA fiasco. Hand up that’s on me because I didn’t know the new normal was to arrive 3 hours early for domestic flights.
Delta was understanding at least and rebooked me on another flight that was 7 hours later (shoutout delta!). I literally never use airport lounges since there is rarely a use for them but figured this might be a good opportunity since I’m paying CapitalOne $400 a year anyways. I get there and they won’t let me in because it’s not within 3 hours before the flight. I’m confused because literally this may have been one of the only times when I actually need a lounge. Like dude who is showing up to flights 5 hours early so they can spend 3 hours in an airport lounge?? I literally offer to pay for the extra hours (even though I’m already paying $400 a year for the card) because I just want a place to do work (it’s a business day) and they still refuse. This has been such an infuriating experience that I’m canceling my CapitalOne venture card. Wild that the company’s strategy is to spend all the money to build out lounges just to piss off customers when they show up so that they cancel their card memberships
