点评：Shopping at the Kittery Premium Outlets, I stopped in at Sperry to do some comparison shopping on men’s waterproof winter boots to be worn outside while removing snow.
There I found the heavy-duty waterproof shoes called Duck Shoes. The boots have a similar name. There were three styles of interest.
One was the Sperry Saltwater Duck Boot, an ankle-high model. Originally, $130.00, the sale price was $29.98. The gripper grooves on the bottoms of the soles weren’t as deep as those on boots at another store. I questioned the effectiveness at providing traction
The second style was the Sperry Norfolk Duck Boot which was similar to the Saltwater model. The gripper grooves on the bottoms of the soles were much deeper and would provide excellent traction on snow. Originally $110.00, they were on sale at $49.98.
A third style was the classic Sperry Coldbay Duck Shoe. Originally $120.00, they were marked down to $59.98.
There was a fourth model that had more interesting styling with tan leather on the upper part around the ankles; however, the gripper grooves were shallow. They were $59.98.
Of the group, I thought the Norfolk model would be the best, and that would be my recommendation to Mr. Choosy.
All the styles were at good discounts.
I rate this visit to Sperry at 4.75 for the quality and sale pricing on the men’s boots and can recommend shopping here.
