No bins = litter everywhere

点评：We have been coming to Sherwood pines for years, however following the recent decision to remove all bins and with rising parking costs I think we’d think twice before returning.
I truly cannot get my head around this decision to remove all the bins?! As a dog owner, you’re now meant to carry your dog poo in its bag along your entire walk, sit with it with you in the cafe, go around the play areas with it, and then take it home?! I have never seen so much litter scattered throughout the forest as there was today, full poo bags, coffee cups, crisp packets everywhere…which is totally unsurprising given there are no bins. It was never like this before the bins were removed. What were you expecting Sherwood pines?! This ridiculous cost saving exercise is therefore making the lovely forest a litter haven and therefore putting wildlife at risk.
Parking is extortionate at £7.30 for 2 hrs and our experience of the cafe was an utter shambles today - standing around for 15+mins waiting for the hot drinks, then the cooked food we ordered had already arrived and was getting cold while still waiting for our drinks.
A real shame because Sherwood Pines has always been a good day out, but not providing one single dog poo bin is utterly ridiculous.
