Beautiful tour by the most lovely guide

点评：An amazing experience that we'd recommend to anyone! The tour started from the parking lot next to the Miradouro do Véu da Nova, which offers a beautiful view of the waterfall and surrounding seaside.
Our lovely guide took us up through the terraces of the vineyard, which consists of many small plots owned by various people, while telling us many interesting facts about Madeiran viticulture in general and this vineyard in particular. Having to bend over to fit under the latadas, which are not made for tall people, made for some funny moments.
After walking all the way up, almost to the laurissilva forest, we were shown to an incredible spot for the wine tasting, where we could enjoy the Madeira wine, some cheese, olives and nuts, and the breathtaking view of the waterfall and the ocean.
The intimate setting and being guided by someone who owns and works a few of these plots herself made this an extra special experience.
