点评:Glad it was a Sunday.. I had been for a flying visit before, but this time had a more leisurely visit. But managed to ‘do’ the lower and middle floor in record time. Interesting artifacts on display and the timeline of the history of Chi was good to give things a bit of perspective/context. Glad it was not school holidays as it would be deafening I am sure.. (there was one younger child, with parents, and instead of looking at the displays together, they were utilising the ‘distraction’ toys available for visitors. But children are not quiet at the best of times and I had to leave due to the echoing of the screeches from this single, small person.) I was a bit disappointed there is nothing about Bognor Regis which is nearby. (I know they have their own museum, but there was stuff about Pagham, Bosham, Selsey etc.. so I didn’t quite understand why nothing about Bognor.. Perhaps there is an opening there.) My companion enjoyed the (free) Shiphams’ exhibition as she is a local. I just stuck to the general stuff as I wanted to get an over view of the town/area. (NB There is a lift to all floors. Recommended if you are not good with stairs, they are long and steep!)
