点评：My family of four (kids are 16 and 12) just finished a beautiful week in Slovenia that was organized and conducted by Adventure Slovenia. We hiked, e-biked, rafted, rock climbed, swam, enjoyed cultural and historical sites, and even went on a successful and delicious truffle hunt. We had never spent this much time with a single guide before, and we were a little nervous about that going in. Luka was a perfect fit for us, however: easy going, professional and attentive, funny, and full of insights about this incredible country. The highlight was our via ferata trip through a beautiful canyon that normally would have been very far outside of the comfort zones for a few members of my family; Luka’s training and demeanor completely allayed those fears, and we have photos of radiant smiles to prove it. We also took a short but fantastic historical/cultural food tour in Ljubljana with Ana, who led us through the history of the city while introducing us to some remarkable restaurants and wines. If you have only a short time to explore this wonderful town, this is a delicious way to get to know it.
I’d love to return to Slovenia for skiing, and I wouldn’t hesitate to contact this company. We were taken care of from our transfer from Austria to our transfer to the airport. This big tour package was a different commitment for us because the itinerary was so packed and we had so much time (six days!) with the same person. I want to emphasize that this was not an issue, and in fact the time we had together actually facilitated activities, like the via ferata and rock climbing and rafting, that we might not have been comfortable with otherwise. This ended up being an ideal fit and trip for my family.
