点评：I signed up for surf lessons with Waiola Surf Academy as a complete beginner, and it turned out to be the best experience of our trip to Maui! During my first time surfing I received clear guidance, constant encouragement, and such positive feedback that I immediately booked another lesson the very next morning.
What made it even more special was that I was encouraged to bring my 3-year-old daughter, and she even got to join in on the fun. It was such a memorable family experience, and we’re already planning to return to Maui just to surf with Waiola Surf Academy again.
I highly recommend booking private lessons for a more personal, hands-on experience plus, they even help with paddling, which makes a big difference for beginners. No experience is required, and beyond learning to surf, I also appreciated the cultural lessons they shared, which made the experience even richer.
A wonderful extra touch was receiving GoPro footage not only do I have the memories, but now I have amazing photos to last a lifetime. Waiola Surf Academy is an absolute must when visiting Maui as was definitely the best part of our trip!
