点评：A one-of-a-kind experience and truly a highlight of our trip. The Skellig Islands are a must if you’re anywhere near the Ring of Kerry. Communication was excellent (10/10) we were updated the night before about the possibility of cancellation due to strong winds and got a clear confirmation early the next morning.
The boat ride itself was exhilarating we got soaked on the way out but were laughing the entire time. Definitely pack waterproof clothing or a poncho if you’re concerned, though they also had rain jackets available if you didn’t bring your own. If you’re prone to motion sickness, I highly recommend wearing patches ahead of time as the seas can get quite choppy.
The islands were absolutely phenomenal. The climb to the top is a bit demanding, but it’s more than worth it for the stunning views, the ancient beehive huts, and the fascinating history shared by the guide at the summit.
