点评：Having recently moved to mid Devon I wanted to show family all the area has to offer and sample some of the amazing local produce, this included a wonderful tour and wine tasting at Quoit at Cross Vineyard, near Tiverton. We visited in May and the weather was on our side. There was roughly around 10 people on our tour (and a dog) and we were met byTim in the area allocated for parking before heading up a track (slightly hilly) to the vineyard slopes with amazing views of the valley and surrounding Devon countryside. Tim talked of his connection with the vineyard and the vines origins, growing and production.
Beautiful walk around the vines to the tasting which was set up in a marquee looking out over the vineyard. We tasted 3 wines, all delectable, my favourite being the Rondo Rose. We then had the opportunity to buy wine and went away with a few bottles. Tim is a great host and our trip ended with the promise of a return in 2026.
