A gorgeous experience of the Teardrop group and a country we love

点评：This is our second Teardrop organised trip to Sri Lanka. The designer who organised everything was Methma. The logistical support was provided by Hemal. Nish, our guide and driver (and wonderful wildlife photographer) was attuned to all our needs. What a formidable team they are. We felt safe, happy, enriched and well-informed all the way. In our trips to Sri Lanka, we have focussed on religious and cultural traditions, the built environment and Geoffrey Bawa, and on biodiversity. All these were synthesised so nicely by Teardrop. The reliability, speed of contact, sorting things out, taking feedback in real time - all these aspects were truly outstanding from a highly professional outfit. We loved the Teardrop hotels where we stayed (Wallawwa, Kalkudah beach house, Fort Bazaar, Lunuganga), and the Jetwings Vil Uyana that they chose for us. We had one unsuitable booking at 98 Resort and Spa, which was too big and toursity, but apart from that, everything was gleaming, perfectly formed and beautifully curated.
