点评：Having travelled west Bhutan and once again booking TRIP KARA DO to explore Eastern Bhutan in itself is a testimony of how much I believe in them.
While many tourists visit the popular western side (Paro, Thimphu), I was looking for something truly off-the-beaten-path, and they delivered a magical, one-of-a-kind experience.
The team at TripKarado sply Sushma, Vishal.. demonstrated exceptional professionalism and deep local knowledge. Every detail was flawlessly handled, from comfortable transport through rugged terrain to authentic, immersive stays.
Our guide Ugen...was the star of the trip, not just a guide but a brilliant storyteller with great sense of humor who shared insights into the local culture and history, making the journey incredibly enriching.
Unlike the standard tourist route, traveling east offers genuine interaction with local communities, including the semi-nomadic Brokpa yak herders in remote Merak and Sakteng. These interactions provide a rare glimpse into a lifestyle that is vanishingly rare in the modern world.
The region is dotted with ancient monasteries and sacred sites that hold immense spiritual significance but are rarely visited by outsiders, such as the Trashigang Dzong, Chutun Kura, a cave where Guru Rinpoche is said to have meditated. The actual highlight of the trip is Omba Ney trek to reach the tiger's nest of the east.
Can't forget to mention.....
All credits to my group the mischievous partners in crime - everyone was vibing with infectious positivity, making the trip truely memorable. This was possible only because of untiring efforts by TripKarado team to keep us comfortable and engaged through out the entire duration of the trip.
The camera lenses can ever justify the beauty of the untouched landscape of Eastern Bhutan.If you crave genuine adventure and seek a place where time seems to stand still, Eastern Bhutan with TripKarado is a must.
