Evia Boat Tour的点评
点评：Extremely negative and concerning experience with Evia Boat Tour / Rent Boat, managed by Jonathan.
The excursion was advertised as a guided tour with modern boats, but our experience was completely different. The boat was more like a fishing boat, with no proper passenger seats, only very low surfaces, some of which appeared damaged. No one introduced themselves, explained where we were going or provided any real guidance. Communication in English was also extremely difficult, despite what was advertised.
My biggest concern, however, was SAFETY. There was no suitable ladder for me to get back onto the boat after swimming. I was asked to swim to a pier and had to use a high chair as support to get back on board, risking falling and seriously injuring myself.
While swimming to the pier, I was stung by numerous jellyfish. Despite being in considerable pain and experiencing severe burning, I received no adequate assistance from the captain. My mother and sister were the ones who mainly helped me. As far as we could ascertain, there was not even a basic first-aid kit available to assist me, and a doctor had to be called to the boat.
The excursion was supposed to last around three hours but ended for us after approximately one hour because of what happened. We requested €40 back and later received a message that we perceived as threatening/intimidating asking for the money back.
We were also not issued a fiscal receipt/proof of payment for the excursion, nor did we receive a receipt for the payment requested for the doctor’s intervention.
This review is not simply about an excursion we did not enjoy. My main concern is passenger safety. Based on what we personally experienced, I believe the safety arrangements and equipment on this boat should be checked by the competent authorities. I have kept messages, photographs, advertising material and medical documentation relating to what happened.
