点评：My brother bought me a ticket for this wonderful hidden gem right next to Pontefract castle. I just visited alongside both my brothers and my dad.
Pauline and Michael were great hosts on showing us around this wonderful building and the contents contained within that Elizabeth spent a lifetime sourcing and cataloguing meticulously. Pauline and Michael are very passionate about what they are doing and are clearly the right people for the job at hand.
The building itself is definitely a stand out piece both from the exterior and the interior. It dates from the 1400s and has some stunning features that you don't see in modern buildings with some amazing large fireplaces.
We came away impressed at what they are trying their hardest to preserve and it certainly was a well spent Sunday morning out. For us, as nobody else was booked on it was essentially a private tour. They allow 8 people maximum so you need to book rather than just turning up. If you are visiting the Pontefract area on a weekend it's a nice way to spend a few hrs and the castle is right next door.
