点评:This park has some of the best views of the Arch and Gateway National Park, hands down. Yes, the neighborhood is sketchy, but we had NO problems on our visit, seeing both the platform and geyser. I would suggest going via the Eads Bridge and exiting quickly to wrap the river road.
With that said, simply look at the pictures as they are the best. Also as a bonus, you get to meet Malcom Martin, the visionary for the eastside park, or at least his statue. It is the place for pictures.
Additionally, if you go at Noon, you can see the Gateway Geyser that can shoot water into the air 630 feet, the same height as the Arch. The day we visited the water levels were at historic lows so not as high and no side fountains, 4 to represent the 4 rivers of the St. Louis area.
