点评:My daughter asked several times if we could stop at the Granite Museum because she studied Earth and Environmental Science at UCLA and absolutely loves rocks and minerals. We’re so glad we listened to her! When we walked in, Steve gave an amazing presentation—or, more accurately, what I would call a theatrical performance—about granite and the geology of Mount Desert Island. His passion, enthusiasm, and storytelling were contagious. He has a way of bringing the subject to life that would keep both children and adults completely engaged. There was no way anyone could be bored while Steve was speaking! The museum is a truly unique place with so much to offer, especially if you are interested in geology, rocks, minerals, or the area's natural history. Even if you don’t, Steve’s enthusiasm alone makes it worth the stop.
A wonderful, unexpected highlight of our trip to MDI. Highly recommend taking the time to visit!

这真是我们缅因州之旅中一个美妙又意想不到的亮点。强烈推荐大家抽空去参观哦!
