点评：I can’t recommend Wet Zone Divers enough!! I hadn’t dived in 2 years when I reached out to Micha enquiring about the AOW course. After a few emails everything was organised from my refresher with Colin to my AOW course with Matt.
The taxi collections to/from the hotel were like clockwork and I was greeted by a smiling member of the team each morning. When I arrived at the harbour I was introduced to the rest of the team, given a thorough safety briefing by the trip leader Matt, allocated a seat number and offered sea sickness tablets, which I’d highly recommend taking. On board the Blue Marlin all my equipment was prepared under my seat ready to go diving. The team and Thai crew on board couldn’t do enough to help. I was briefed about the dive site by Matt before every dive so I knew exactly what to expect.
Day one was at Richelieu Rock where I did my deep dive and fish identification. When I first started descending I was a little wary as the line was overcrowded by other divers in the area however Matt made me feel calm, safe and relaxed. There were schools of fish everywhere, I’ve never seen so many fish in one place before.
Day two was at Koh Bon where I did my Underwater Naturalist, Navigation and Drift dives. Matt made my dives feel effortless and enjoyable even whilst he was helping another diver who was having troubles and required a lot of his attention. At my safety stop he made bubble rings with his air to pass the time. He went above and beyond to make sure I had the best time, that I felt safe throughout and he shared his never ending knowledge. Matt really is an incredible instructor and a lovely human. He is very passionate about diving and the ocean, that shows in his teaching.
The team looked after me so well from start to finish. I had a magical experience, I left AOW certified and feeling part of the family 🧡
I’ll definitely be returning.
