The Ark Divers Panama的点评
点评：Starting Ark Divers was clearly a dream that Mike brought to life. He built his beautiful lodge in the middle of the jungle as a welcoming retreat for divers, and it truly reflects the slogan: "An Act of Random Kindness Makes a Difference."
The bungalows are comfortable, clean, and charming, making it a wonderful place to relax and disconnect. Getting there was a bit of an adventure for us. We took the public bus from Panama City to Soná (about $10 per person and a 5–7 hour journey). Mike kindly helped us arrange a private driver from Soná to the lodge, which cost around $65. With the new road construction, it is now much easier to rent a car and drive directly from Panama City to the lodge. Alternatively, a private transfer from Panama City can be arranged, which I understand costs approximately $350–400.
The diving was fantastic. We visited at the beginning of the rainy season, so visibility was not at its best, but we still saw octopuses, sharks, bull sharks, and plenty of other marine life. However, what made the experience truly special was the lodge itself: the peaceful atmosphere, delicious food, and the perfect place to rest and recharge after a day of diving.
We would love to return during the dry season to experience the area again under different conditions. Mike's dive equipment is top-notch, and the small fishing village nearby is lovely and authentic. Overall, it was a memorable experience that we highly recommend.
