Meghalaya: the state of unthinkable places

点评：Firstly I would like to say that, this was the best vacation I’ve ever been to. The experience was incredible. We got go see so many hidden gems of the city. The length of visit was for 5 days, the first 2 days we travelled in Shillong. We saw the breathtaking view from the Umiam lake, we shopped in the local market in Police bazar.
Then the next morning we went on a early trek for the most spectacular hike of sunrise that is the unreal sight of the Nongjrong mountains. The atmosphere was so fresh, the air was so clear and almost felt like this wasn’t a place on earth. Then we went to Laitlum canyon, Wards lake , both were so beautiful.
Then we traveled to Cherrapunji , this place has a special place in my heart. Can never forget this town, we visited Mawplong(village) sacred forest , saw so many beautiful people and unique cultures and traditions, it felt very surreal.
Then we visited hidden waterfalls and the Living root bridge, the natures best. Also heard so many stories from locals and the highlight of the trip was trying various food varieties and also we wore the Jaisen the local dress from the Khasi village.
And this was not possible without our best friend, our driver cum guide for the best trip in Meghalaya.

这一切都离不开我们最好的朋友，也是我们梅加拉亚邦之旅的司机兼导游——达舍姆·林多（Dashem Lyndoh）。
