Learn about Plantas medicinales with Mama Della

点评：Our tour in Tena, Napo/Ecuador with friends had everything that made the day truly special. Mama Della’s family welcomed us with incredible warmth, and we enjoyed a long walk through the chakra. Along the way, we climbed small hills and crossed streams. We often paused to learn about the medicinal plants growing by the paths, and we were even invited to taste fruits straight from the trees. Some plants we collected to later process in the small cabana, where we prepared our own medicine under the guidance of Mama Della and her husband. They answered all our questions about the plants and their family, sharing fascinating anecdotes from their lives. After a delicious lunch of maitos and freshly gathered mushrooms, we concluded our excursion. It was a wonderful Saturday experience that I would gladly repeat anytime: walking, learning and trying something new, and enjoying great food together with friends. It doesn’t get any better than that. Thank you for this unforgettable day, Claudia.
