点评：Trip to Yemen and Socotra with Waheeb was the most unforgettable experience of my life. Every single day was full of discovery. Waheeb didn't just guide us along the route, he genuinely immersed us in the local culture: sharing its history and traditions, taking us to places no tourist would ever find on their own.
Socotra is another planet. Dragon blood trees, snow-white dunes, untouched beaches without a single footprint, landscapes that exist nowhere else in the world. Yemen amazed me with the depth of its culture and the sincerity of its people. The hospitality here makes you feel not like a tourist, but like a long-awaited guest.
The organization was flawless. Water and drinks were always free, and we had a cook with us, so food was never a worry: rice, vegetables, chicken, flatbreads, all sorts of dips, sometimes tuna or other meat, everything fresh and delicious. Waheeb took care of every little thing. When I ran out of cash, he bought me fruit and whatever I needed without a second thought. When we casually mentioned we were running low on clean clothes, he arranged our laundry without us even asking. We were also given small souvenirs with our names on them, which was such a sweet touch. And through all of it, the itinerary stayed flexible: my friend found a canyon on Instagram, and we changed our plans without any hassle to go see it.
One moment I'll remember forever was dinner at Waheeb's home. His family cooked traditional dishes for us, and it was a real, living introduction to the culture, not some tourist setup. We were also invited to a dinner during Ramadan, which turned out to be an incredibly warm and special experience.
Everything was safe, we were cared for every step of the way, and any issue was solved before it even had a chance to come up. If you're an avid traveler, I recommend this 100%. It was so much better than I ever could have imagined, and we will definitely be back.
