Very Disappointing Tourist Experience in Chikmagalur

点评：Our experience in Chikmagalur was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, we encountered some cab drivers who behaved rudely and acted as if the mountains and tourist spots belonged exclusively to them. Such behaviour creates a very unpleasant and unwelcoming atmosphere for tourists.
Despite the government collecting entry fees from visitors, there appears to be a lack of proper parking facilities and management. The most disturbing part of our experience was that our vehicle was damaged while parked in a designated parking area, allegedly by some cab drivers. Tourists should not have to face such incidents when they visit a place for relaxation and enjoyment.
I strongly urge the Tourism Department and local authorities to take these issues seriously. Proper parking facilities, effective monitoring, accountability for vehicle damage, and strict action against misbehaving individuals are essential to ensure tourists feel safe and welcome.
Chikmagalur has beautiful natural scenery and great tourism potential, but such experiences can seriously damage its reputation. Tourists deserve respectful treatment, proper facilities, and a safe environment—not harassment or intimidation.
