An Authentic Shepherding Experience at a Local Family Farm

点评：Wow! What an experience! Rach was so thoughtful in educating us about so many parts of their farm and the herding dog experience was incredible with the dogs Gryphon and Rebel. Rach answered all of our questions with such a genuineness and took extra time to talk through the things we were curious about. It is really interesting to hear about how their passion for the shepherding way of life and the conservation of the natural world can work together.
It is truly amazing to see how much the dogs love their work and hear about how animal welfare is so important to Rach and Alister on their farm. We even got to try out some of the herding commands with Rebel ourselves! The farm has all kinds of other animals, which was so fun getting to see them too. The farm cat Maggie was a personal highlight. She is the sweetest!
Also, they have amazing homemade soaps and fresh eggs. For those not staying at the farm or doing one of the experiences, you can still swing by the honest box for fresh eggs and farm goodies!
This is NOT a commercialized experience. We felt like part of the farm for the morning and it felt so special to support a local family.
