点评：What an absolute treat!! I booked weeks in advance with plans to hang out with a dear friend during the late morning early afternoon session. As avid swimmers we were glad to goggle-up and chose a lane that wasn't too busy. It was extra calm as schools had not yet begun their holidays. We felt blessed by the delicious heatwave, cloudless sky and sparkling refreshing water. What more could we need! The facilities and pool were clean, there was a great locker system, adjacent outdoor changing cubicles, showers and a carefully placed full length mirror!! We didn't try the cafe but saw people choosing a range of snacks, meals and drinks. The foliage, flowers and gardens looked beautiful - looked after, we were told, by local volunteers. The place was huge and had a welcoming vibe. On occasion the life guard kept tom-foolery in check on the far side but the width of the pool meant that more serious swimmers were lanes away from any more playful groups. It really was a pleasant and invigorating experience.
