Crinan Canal - Lovely scenery and interesting chat. A relaxing afternoon trip.

点评：A lovely way to spend a couple of hours.
Arrived with my wife and mother in law to be greeted by Captain Gordon and Second Mate Logan. Very welcoming and helped us aboard.
The forecast was sunshine and showers and, as the seating is in the open air, we were told there were umbrellas if we wanted them.
We set off, following a cruiser into the lock.
The gates were shut and we gently lifted as the water came in. We thought it would be choppy, but you couldn't feel it, just rose up like a gentle lift.
Gordon then headed down the canal while Logan told us about the heritage of the canal, the people who used it in the past, and more recent times.
The 2 hours went by quickly, even though the Scottish weather did strike once, so the brollies were deployed for 5 minutes before the sun came back out. All adding to the experience.
Thank you to Gordon and Logan for a lovely trip and we will be recommending it to all our friends.
