点评：I have been on 3 of Nic and Wendy's Shakespeare retreats, and they have all been beyond expectations. The last (Henriad) was possibly the best. Nic is excellent at integrating a group of strangers into a group of friends in no time at all. Communal meals, home cooked by Wendy are first rate and the round table at which we all sit is a site of discussion, fun and banter. The rooms are beautiful, the bathrooms state of the art, the views and surrounding countryside breathtaking. And the Shakespeare! A full play read and lightly discussed each morning with afternoons filled with activities: workshops, films, interviews, lectures and discussions. And a chance for some creativity. Nothing is compulsory, but all you have to do is relax, let Nic and Wendy take the strain and do nothing but think about Shakespeare. If Shakespeare is you thing, this retreat is for you.
