点评：Totally incredible and highest quality. You have a good number of options when it comes to the Huayhuash trek, both on the internet and once you set foot in Huaraz. My friend and I used Chris and his team Highlands Ecoexpeditions for the 8 day trek and were seriously impressed by the organization and scheduling, comfort, timeliness, conversation/discourse from the guides, professionalism and amicability and straight up awesomeness of the guides [shoutout to Eduardo and Romil], cook [Celina, you are diamond in the rough], and porters [looking at you Ali]. With beautiful places like this, the default satisfaction is high, so a lot of things can wrong...and nothing did. The team made it so we could rest assured camp was set up, the food was delicious [and well cooked], that water was plentiful and safe to drink, and that any obstacles were readily anticipated. The tents and sleeping pads and bags were super comfortable - this makes a huge difference since it can be tough to sleep sometimes at 14-15000 feet in elevation. And lastly - massive kudos to Chris. He is quite remarkably responsive, reassuring, and thorough - these are all things that anyone planning a trip in the future from far away obviously cares about. The dude is stoked, motivating, caring, and super good to his staff - we experienced it, and heard about it from his people firsthand. I plan on talking with him first when we come back next year and plan to set up a few summit bids [they offer 4 and 8 day huayhuash, he could set up 12 day too; rock climbing, summit expeditions, day trips to laguna 69, etc.]. Use them - they will not disappoint...home away from home sort of feel.
