A cooking class taught by a real Yiayia!

点评：The day after I arrived in Rhodes, I took the cooking class at Emponias View restaurant, taught by a real Yiayia. The location is in the hills overlooking the northern shore of Rhodes and just the view alone is worth the cost of the class.
Right away when I arrived, I was greeted with some fresh Greek coffee (one of my favorites) as well as an amazing orange dish and learned to make some local specialties that were absolutely incredible. The class was about 3-4 hours (honestly I lost track of time) and had one of the best meals of my life!
At the end of the class we got printed copies of the recipes, but even better was how Yiayia taught us to just take a handful of this and a spoon of that to make these delicious dishes.
As if that was enough, the class was taught in an outdoor kitchen that really made me feel at home.
I cannot say enough good things about this experience and on a scale of 1 to 5 I would give this class an 11!!! It was truly that wonderful.
