点评：We had such a blast on this tour! This tour specifically is a once in a lifetime as you will feel so enmeshed with the Costa Rican jungle. The locals know what they’re doing and the Costa Rican lunch at the end was the cherry on top. Literally best Costa Rican food since arriving the week prior.
We got to see “Jurassic Canyon”/Quebrada Gata and when they say this is for the hikers, adventure seekers, and nature lovers - this is it. The water crossings, the jumping from one rock to another, finding your footing in the water rushing against you and the beauty of what looks so untouched by man is what left this experience very unforgettable. Now it is noted this is “moderate - technical,” and I think if you hike a lot and scramble and are here for the adventure as well, you’re prepared. However if you like easy hikes, flat surfaces, no incline, no decline - this is not for you.
Getting picked up by Kenneth and meeting our guide, Cristian were absolute gems. Kenneth was so personable and we got to speak about his goals with the Bajos Del Toro area. He sends a detailed messaged of what to wear, bring and general gist of what to anticipate. Cristian ensured we got to see spectacular views and also got the right angles for our pics. Also the energy he has to jump from one rock to another is crazy.
12/10 experience. Would def recommend if you like waterfalls and aren’t scared of crossing water and are able to trust the vibes.
