Good Club Let Down By Rising Membership Fees and Equipment Breakdown

点评：My experience of David Lloyd Lichfield has started out well when I joined in June 2024. However, currently at £152.50 a month for platinum membership it is just too costly. The club went through an extensive refurbishment but that is not seen in the equipment which seems to always break down and there are some real health and safety issues with lighting and where the steps machine is located in the club. My personal trainer was amazing and so were other PTs I met and so were all the class teachers except for one Vinyasa Yoga teacher who was too opinionated and expected attendees to do head stands on first day and promptly handed his business card.
I also had an experience in 2025, where around £24O was taken from my credit card for PT sessions and when I raised it , the blame was put on me by the membership team. A refund was promised but the money never came.
I have given my experience 3 stars due to break down of equipment, health and safety issues and the cost. Reception staff, PT experience and Pilates, yoga, food service in club and the quality of members was excellent.
