We booked an evening tour from 4–7 PM at the end of May and honestly could not have asked for a better experience on the Emerald Coast. We spent part of the tour people watching at Crab Island, cruised through the harbor and bay areas, and stopped along a calm shoreline to look for seashells while Captain John helped us find them.
With storms moving in and choppier Gulf waters, Captain John adjusted the route to keep things comfortable and relaxing. As a single parent traveling with a teenager, feeling safe and at ease mattered a lot, and he checked in several times throughout the tour to ensure we felt comfortable and were having a great time.
The night ended with a rainbow, a beautiful sunset over the water, and one more dolphin sighting before we headed back in.
