An enjoyable day out with spectacular displays of tulips and so many photo opportunities!

点评：We had a great afternoon visiting on Tuesday. The tulips were beautiful, really spectacular and the variety truly amazing...and we loved the many photo opportunities provided. All the staff were so very very friendly and helpful, from car parking to refreshments, the shop and a special mention to the staff in the tulip fields, who gave us interesting information about the tulips and also offered to take photos of our family for us.
We had a tasty lunch in the refreshment area and enjoyed the decor ... pretty houses and windmill, and wonderful displays of tulips in the planters too!
I must also mention how pleasantly surprised we were by the toilets...the best portable loos we have come across!
The only thing that we thought could be improved upon was the large clog on the terrace outside the cafe...it looked great and we saw kids sitting in it for a photo, which looked lovely...but when our granddaughter got in we took our photos and then realised she couldn't climb out! (she is a big heavy 12 year old) and as elderly grandparents we couldn't manage to pull her out! Luckily another visitor came to our aid...and we all had a good laugh about it! The problem was, I think, that the inside of the clog was curved, like a bowl. If it had been flat it would have been easier to get out.

唯一美中不足的是咖啡馆外面露台上的那个大木桩……它看起来很棒，我们看到孩子们坐在里面拍照，看起来很漂亮……但是当我们的孙女坐进去拍照后，我们才发现她爬不出来！（她是一个12岁、体型较大、体重较重的女孩）作为上了年纪的爷爷奶奶，我们实在拉不动她！幸好另一位访客帮了我们……我们都哈哈大笑起来！我想，问题出在木屐的内侧是弯曲的，像个碗。如果是平的，就更容易取出来了。
