Cagbalete Island的点评
点评：I had a hard time searching for recent review about Cagbalete Island. So, to help others here’s my latest review.
-Travel would take you almost 4 hours from Manila to Mauban Port.
- 1 hour travel time from Mauban Port to Sabang Port (Cagbalete Island)
- The boat can actually drop you off to your resort if it’s high tide.
- I was told by the resort that it is mandatory to book and pay a 2 way boat transfer is at Mauban Tourism via online (They will send you the link where you can register and pay for the boat and eco tourism fee)
-Boat transfer cost for 10ax is P4000 and P200 per pax for eco tourism fee. Parking fee is P300 for 24hours.
-Upon arrival, I found out that other public boat accepting tourist for transfer which way cheaper than what we paid. P100 per pax
-Cagbalete Island is truly comparable to Boracay. However, the island is only using generator during daytime.
- We stayed at Dona Choleng Resort. Don’t expect a high-end resort in the island. But I can assure you the Island itself will make you feel relaxed.
-The resort has a mini store where you can buy food and snack. Quite expensive but it’s ok, we’re actually expecting that. If you wanted to buy cheaper snacks or drinks you can take the resort shuttle and ask to drop you off in their small town area where there’s plenty of small stores selling goods.
-Best time to do island hopping is noon time, a perfect time to visit their sand bar. Don’t forget to bring your snorkel, the island has a nice spot for snorkeling.
