Tolethorpe Hall built in the time of Shakespeare. Beautiful grounds and gardens. Set in countryside close to Stamford.
People are able and invited to bring picnics pre performances.
Performances cater for all ages, usually four different stage preproductions per season.
Bar service on site, with coffee and tea separately served at performance intervals.
“Friends of” season annual membership available, benefit of inclusive specifically quality printed programmes for each individual performance.
Concession price tickets available.
Registered charity.
Peruse the history of the Shakespeare Company in Stamford, it is amazing and heart warming.
Trained volunteers work and assist, eg front of house and other task requirements.
Theatre workshops for young people.
Professional actors alongside thespians who train and audition for parts.
Costume, lighting, sound, theatre sets, all ingenious.

Even during Covid, the Theatre Company did their utmost for spacing and caring for all attendees.

Take rugs for chilly evening performances, my tip, take a sleeping bag, sit inside it, with the zip coming up the front.
Or for less chilly, a pashmina type shawl.
