I booked this as a last-minute Mother’s Day experience for my mom and me, and from the very first message, our guide was responsive, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making our day special. He worked with our budget, incorporated the specific sites we wanted to see, and then went so far above and beyond that I honestly don’t know how to do it justice in a review.
We started in Galway and made our way through some of the most breathtaking scenery in all of Ireland — the Burren landscape, the ancient Poulnabrone Dolmen, the haunting beauty of Corcomroe Abbey, the charm of Lisdoonvarna, and of course the iconic Cliffs of Moher.
But what made this private Clare tour extraordinary wasn’t just the famous landmarks — it was all the hidden gems in between that you’d never find on a group bus tour. Our guide has an incredible depth of local knowledge and an obvious love for County Clare and Ireland that is completely contagious.
We never felt rushed. He pulled over whenever we wanted an extra photo, shared stories and history at every stop, and made two women traveling together feel completely at home and cared for the entire day.
