Blacks Brewery & Distillery的点评
点评：Blacks Distillery is owned by Sam and Maude. While we sadly didn’t get to meet Sam, Maude was the kindest and most welcoming host we could have asked for. You can tell how much heart and soul they’ve both poured into making Blacks the incredible venue it is.
After getting completely lost in Kinsale and thinking we’d miss our booking, Maude actually picked us up from the other side of town so we could make the tour in time. Straight away Maude made us feel welcome and went far beyond excellent customer service. We also got to meet the great Pugsley, which was an added bonus!
Our tour was led by Jack, a fantastic host with a brilliant sense of humour. He shared the history of Kinsale and the brewery before taking us on a full tour, finishing in the tasting room. We opted for the Rum Voyager and sampled three different rums, plus two additional products. The rum was 10/10, and we’ll definitely be back for more - it is worth noting the rum is also available online and we will definitely be buying a bottle(s)!
We recommend this to anybody that comes to the area, it is great value for money and the group sizes are perfect for interaction and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere! The tour lasts around one hour and includes not only Rum, but your preference of Rum, Whiskey, Vodka and Gin!
The distillery also doubles as an event venue, with beautifully designed, modern spaces and some of the most breathtaking views in Kinsale.
