点评：The quarry itself is beautiful and a fantastic spot for paddleboarding, but unfortunately the experience was let down by the staff.
Paddleboarding is not well managed on the water, with swimmers circling without clear direction or anyone effectively overseeing traffic, which makes it feel a bit disorganised and unsafe at times.
The main issue, however, was the attitude of the staff member in the boat. Although the booking was until 3pm, we were repeatedly told from around 2:30pm that we only had 15 minutes left. We were already making our way back calmly, but the pressure continued, with the boat following closely behind and actively shepherding people in. It made everyone feel rushed and quite uncomfortable, and in the end, everyone was effectively off the water by around 2:45pm.
On such a hot day (around 30°C), it would have been reasonable to be allowed the full booked time. The tone and approach felt unnecessarily rude, and it significantly impacted what should have been a really enjoyable experience. I’ve also seen similar comments about staff behaviour, so it may be worth them addressing this properly.
