点评:On the last day of the year we planned this trip to the Apiculture Museum just outside Lushoto (near Magamba Forest), on the site of Anmut. I couldn’t believe what i saw. Not only an incredibly well and beautifully put together museum, didactical, rich and diverse (diagrams, tools, terrariums, pictures, concise and clear explanations), but also a personal presentation by Emanuel. Founder of TanBees. He is a true treasure chest of knowledge and information. When you come out of the compact museum you will have truly lived a full “Bee experience”, from bee biology, its environmental importance, all the aspects of bee life and work, to the economical aspects of harvesting, trading and consuming all of the bee products. We stayed about 2 hours as we got the bee fever and had a lot of questions that Emanuel -who is very fluent in English- answered with ease ( and when he didn’t know he admitted to look into it). Very reasonably priced for what you get in return it is a “must see” when visiting Luchoto and the surroundings. Thank you Emanuel for your dedication and passion. I am sure any person coming out of your museum feels like becoming an apiculturer. Asante sana.
